POLICIES & FORMS

  1. Heights Netball Club complies with Netball Victoria's Membership & Participation Terms & Conditions.

  2. Parkville Netball has a range of policies in place to ensure a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all members

  3. Inappropriate On-court Behaviour Protocol - this is the correct way to sanction players who behave inappropriately during a game:

    • Coaches: If dangerous, threatening, or offensive behaviour is observed on court and the umpire fails to intervene, the coach should request that an official observe play and intervene if required.

    • Team Managers: If dangerous, threatening, or offensive behaviour is observed and the umpire and coach have not intervened, the Team Manager should get an official to observe play and intervene if required.

    • Parents: If dangerous, threatening, or offensive behaviour is observed on court, parents should ask the Team Manager to speak with the coach.

  4. Heights Netball Club has a policy for training on hot days. The Club will use the Bureau of Meteorology for Melbourne (Olympic Park) to check the temperature. If the temperature is 36℃ or above an hour before training, the session will be cancelled. Your Team Manager will confirm the decision via the usual communication channels. If the temperature is between 31℃ and 35℃, training will go ahead but coaches will reduce the intensity and offer more frequent drink breaks.
